The new Zvex iMP Amp (now with gleaming nickel-plated transformers!) is the world's smallest vacuum tube hi-fi stereo amplifier. The iMP Amp is a remarkable product that fuses 50's technology with modern electronics. Now you can put a 50's-style hi-fi right on your desktop, no matter how little room you have available.

We have an iMP Amp in our office. It is connected to a pair of Yamaha NS-500M speakers. These speakers are medium efficiency (91dB @ 1 watt / 1 meter) and are driven to a very respectable, room-filling volume using the iMP Amp.

We were listening to an Annie Lennox song with some deep bass notes. We stepped outside to talk and broke out laughing when we noticed that the walls were shaking and the windows were rattling outside! This mighty little gem really has become our favorite hi-fi amp. It is stunningly beautiful and sounds as great as it looks!

The frequency response is 15Hz to 20kHz +/- 1.25db. This is excellent for any tube amp, let alone one that fits into the palm of your hand!
